It's been a while since I have flown on a domestic route long enough to qualify for meal service so I was eagerly awaiting this 763 flight in the F cabin. As a DM I cleared the upgrade for this segment well in advance. A good thing too bc the standby waitlist was over 20 long!
I arrived at LAX early enough to enjoy a few moments in the skyclub. The dragons were pleasant enough and welcomed me in with a quick scan of my BP. The club wasn't so crowded. A likely result of the new entrance policies. :-)
I spent a little too much time in the club and had a few too many miller lights. By the time I got to gate 57 a huge cluster had formed as boarding had already begun. The GAs were checking luggage gate side because of the completely full flight. This 763 of course operates some of the older bins. I quickly bypassed the line to board but was stuck in the jet bridge for about 5 minutes as the line cleared.
Seat was standard domestic F with AVOD and satellite tv. They are starting to show their wear but for a 3 hour flight seem just fine. PDB was on point and I chose a tomato juice on the rocks. Delta is always consistent with PDBs in my opinion. FAs on Delta are generally great as we'll and this flight was no exception. The flight deck informed us of a very quick trip to MSP (3 hours). I settled in my seat and began to relax before takeoff.

Oshibori were passed out before meal service began. Lunch was a very delicious burger with a side of potatoes, cheeses, fruit and an amazingly delicious cherry cheesecake. The other option was a chicken salad which I politely passed on. Water was constantly brought by with a smile as well as a the usual snack basket. We touched down at MSP we'll before schedule. Well done DELTA!
